Working Principle The S24860 converts incoming AC power to regulated DC bus voltage through internal rectification and filtering. Digital signal processors execute current, velocity, and position control algorithms at high update rates. Three-phase sinusoidal current is synthesized using space vector PWM techniques. Position feedback from motor-mounted encoders or resolvers is processed through high-resolution interpolation circuits. The drive executes stored motion profiles or responds to external command sources via fieldbus or pulse inputs.
