Description
Metso A413139
Technical Specifications Multi-channel analog signal input; supports 4-20mA and voltage signal types; channel isolation design; overvoltage and overcurrent protection; backplane bus communication; high resolution analog-to-digital conversion; front panel status LEDs.
Functional Features Acquires analog measurement signals from pressure, flow, temperature and level transmitters. Isolates each channel to suppress crosstalk between different measurement loops. Converts analog field signals into high-resolution digital values for the controller. Diagnoses loop open circuit, short circuit and signal out-of-range faults and uploads alarm information. Supports channel configuration of signal type and measurement range through system software.
Application Scenarios Mining process parameter measurement, pulp and paper process monitoring, slurry pipeline flow measurement, industrial water treatment analog measurement loops.
Performance Parameters High conversion resolution; good linearity in full measurement span; low temperature drift; stable measurement in dusty and high-humidity industrial cabinet environments.
Material Composition PCB substrate is FR-4 high-reliability flame-retardant multilayer board; analog conversion chips are precision industrial grade semiconductors; isolation components are optocoupler and isolation amplifier; backplane connector contacts are gold-plated copper alloy.
Structural Characteristics Rack plug-in card structure; front panel with power, communication and channel fault indicator lights; rear gold finger connector for rack backplane connection; mechanical locking device for slot fixing.
Working Principle Analog signals from field transmitters enter the module after passing through the matched terminal unit. Signal conditioning circuits filter and limit the input signal. High-precision analog-to-digital converters transform analog quantities into digital values. The module transmits digital measurement data to the main controller through the backplane bus, and continuously judges whether each signal is within the normal working range.
Installation Requirements Install the module into the designated slot of the Metso control rack. Complete wiring between the module and field terminal assembly with shielded instrument cables. Set signal type, upper and lower measurement limits in the control configuration software. Perform channel calibration before putting the measurement loop online.
Precautions for Use Use twisted shielded instrument cables for field transmitter wiring. Complete single-point grounding of cable shielding layer. Avoid laying analog signal cables alongside high-frequency variable frequency drive cables.
