Working Principle: Field RTD sensor signal is transmitted to A413345 module through supporting terminal base. The module outputs constant excitation current to thermal resistance. It collects resistance change value and converts resistance signal into digital temperature value through internal ADC chip. Temperature data is uploaded to DCS controller via backplane bus. The module detects wire break or short circuit fault of sensor and uploads alarm message.
Installation Requirements: Install in designated slot of Metso DNA I/O rack and match with original terminal base. Use special shielded compensation cable for RTD wiring. The shield layer adopts single-point grounding. Temperature signal cables and high-power cables are laid separately. Cabinet protective grounding terminal must be connected reliably.
Precautions for Use: Select corresponding wiring mode according to field RTD type. Cut off sensor loop power before wiring work. Do not access high voltage signal to input channel. Cut off rack backplane power before module disassembly. Check terminal tightness regularly. Avoid condensation inside cabinet.
