Material Composition Metal alloy housing with integrated heat sink; Multi-layer power PCB; IGBT power module; DSP motion control chip; Current sampling sensors; Filter electrolytic capacitors; Screw terminals for power, motor and signal wiring.
Structural Characteristics Vertical rack-mounted compact module; Power terminals on lower side, encoder and bus signal terminals on upper side; Internal physical separation of high-power circuit and weak signal control circuit; Rear side heat sink for forced air cooling.
Working Principle Three-phase AC power rectifies to DC bus inside the amplifier. DSP chip receives real-time motion command from MAX-4 controller via servo bus and generates PWM signal to drive IGBT module. Variable frequency three-phase AC outputs to servo motor. Encoder feedback returns motor position signal to form closed-loop motion control. Protection circuit monitors power circuit continuously and cuts off torque output when fault occurs.
Installation Requirements Mount amplifier on PacDrive M rack and lock module buckle. Ensure cooling air flow passes through heat sink. Use shielded cable for motor power and encoder wiring, separate power and signal wiring. Complete reliable protective earthing. After power-on, execute motor parameter identification and verify STO safety function.
Usage Notes Wait for DC bus capacitor full discharge before disconnecting wiring. Clean heat sink dust periodically. Backup axis parameters before module replacement. Do not operate drive without matched servo motor.
