Working Principle:
The inverter converts three-phase AC input through a rectifier into DC, stored in the DC bus capacitors, then synthesizes variable-frequency PWM output via IGBT switching. In VFC mode, the algorithm continuously calculates a complete motor model to independently regulate flux and electromagnetic torque without encoder feedback. In CFC mode, encoder feedback enables closed-loop current control, where the algorithm decouples the motor’s flux and torque components in real time for independent regulation.
Installation Requirements:
- Mount vertically inside a control cabinet with adequate ventilation
- Maintain minimum clearance above and below the unit for airflow
- Use shielded power and motor cables with 360° shield grounding
- Motor cable phase sequence must match U-V-W terminal markings
- Connect braking resistor to dedicated braking terminals (+R, -R) for dynamic braking
- Ambient temperature must remain within 0°C to +50°C
- Connect encoder cable to the encoder interface (X15) when operating in CFC mode
- PROFIBUS-DP cable connects to X30 for fieldbus communication
Usage Precautions:
- Perform motor initialization after connecting a new motor
- Use MOVITOOLS MotionStudio software for parameter configuration and commissioning
- Verify supply voltage stability within ±10% tolerance before operation
- Never connect or disconnect motor cables while the inverter is energized
- Monitor fault codes via integrated LED display or MOVITOOLS software
- Clean heat sink dust regularly; remove immediately if accumulation exceeds 2 mm
- Confirm grounding resistance is less than 1 Ω
- Wait at least 5 minutes after disconnecting main power to ensure capacitor discharge before maintenance
- At 500V supply, system and output current must be derated by 20%
