Toshiba CPUX01-01

Technical Specifications Industrial real-time processor core; dedicated memory for turbine control database and user control strategy; internal high-speed backplane bus for I/O rack communication; redundant hot standby capability with bumpless switchover; supports high-resolution SOE event time stamping; operating temperature 0 ℃ to 60 ℃; rack plug-in card for TOSMAP control chassis; battery-backed memory for parameter retention.

Functional Features Deterministic execution of turbine governor PID and load control algorithms; overspeed protection and emergency trip interlock logic; sequence control for valve and auxiliary equipment; online control strategy download without interrupting turbine control; continuous data synchronization between primary and standby redundant CPU; comprehensive self-diagnosis for memory, bus and processor fault.

Application Scenarios Thermal power plant steam turbine control, combined cycle gas turbine generator control, power plant auxiliary system interlock and turbine protection DCS racks.

Material Composition High Tg FR4 multilayer control PCB; industrial processor and memory chips; gold-plated rear backplane edge connectors; front panel status LED array; circuit board conformal coating for high-humidity power plant cabinet environment.

Structural Characteristics Horizontal rack plug-in card; front panel LEDs for power, active/standby and fault state; rear edge connector connects to TOSMAP internal I/O bus; internal circuit isolates high-speed control logic from field communication interfaces.

Working Principle After rack power-up, the CPU loads turbine control strategy from nonvolatile memory. It reads valve position, speed, pressure and temperature signals from I/O modules, calculates governor output and interlock status, and sends valve control commands back to output cards. In redundant pair configuration, standby CPU continuously synchronizes all real-time variables and takes over immediately upon primary CPU failure.

Installation Requirements Insert into designated slot of TOSMAP FCS rack; power down rack before card insertion or removal; verify firmware revision compatibility with plant engineering station software; terminate plant control network correctly at bus ends.

Operation Notes Back up turbine control database and interlock logic before firmware modification; perform redundant switchover test after CPU replacement; inspect backplane connector shielding periodically in power plant corrosive atmosphere.
