Functional Features:
- High Precision: Low noise and low drift for accurate measurement.
- Channel Isolation: Individual channel isolation to prevent ground loops.
- Linearization: Built-in linearization for thermocouples and RTDs.
- Diagnostics: Wire break detection and over-range alarming.
Application Scenarios:
- Process control loops in chemical and petrochemical plants.
- Power generation boiler and turbine monitoring.
- Environmental monitoring systems.
- Batch processing and recipe control.
Performance Parameters:
- Sampling Rate: Configurable scan rates.
- Input Impedance: >1 MΩ for voltage, <500 Ω for current.
- Temperature Coefficient: Low drift over operating temperature range.
Material Composition & Structural Characteristics:
- PCB: Precision analog layout with guard rings.
- Connectors: Shielded terminal blocks.
- Enclosure: EMI-shielded housing.
Working Principle:
Field signals are conditioned, filtered, and amplified. An analog-to-digital converter (ADC) digitizes the signal. A microprocessor applies scaling, linearization, and calibration factors, then transmits the engineering unit value to the controller via the backplane.
Installation Requirements:
- Shielding: Connect cable shields at the module end only to prevent ground loops.
- Wiring: Use twisted-pair shielded cable for all analog signals.
- Separation: Route analog cables away from power and motor cables.
Usage Precautions:
- Calibration: Perform periodic calibration with certified standards.
- Signal Limits: Do not exceed maximum input ratings.
- ESD: Handle with extreme care; analog circuits are ESD sensitive.
