Working Principle MAX-4 controller obtains power from system backplane. User motion and logic program stored in flash memory runs cyclically. The controller calculates trajectory and sends real-time motion command to MC-4 servo drives through high-speed servo bus. It reads motor encoder feedback to complete closed-loop multi-axis synchronization and exchanges logic signals with I/O modules.
Installation Requirements Power off PacDrive M rack before installation. Insert MAX-4 module into empty rack slot and lock buckle. Connect Ethernet and servo bus cables. Download user motion project via programming software, configure axis parameters and test synchronized movement. Complete cabinet protective earthing.
Usage Notes Hot swap operation is prohibited during system running. Backup user motion recipe and program before module replacement. Use shielded cable for servo bus wiring. Keep cabinet cooling fan working normally. Do not modify internal hardware components.
