Functional Features Seismic electrodynamic principle realizes absolute casing vibration measurement without external excitation power supply for sensing element. Vertical measurement orientation with ±60° installation angle tolerance. High sensitivity for capturing low-frequency mechanical casing vibration. Stainless steel splash-proof housing adapts to high temperature and oily industrial field environment. Wide frequency response range covers main vibration frequency of steam turbine, compressor and large pump. Built-in seismic mass and damping structure ensures stable amplitude linearity. Shielded signal cable reduces electromagnetic interference from field power equipment. Output voltage signal directly proportional to vibration velocity for monitoring module acquisition.
Application Scenarios Steam turbine casing absolute vibration monitoring, centrifugal compressor bearing housing vibration measurement, large generator stator vibration monitoring, gas turbine casing vibration protection, large industrial pump and fan casing vibration online monitoring.
Performance Parameters Amplitude linearity less than 2% within full measuring range. Transverse vibration interference is suppressed strictly below specified threshold. Sensor maintains stable sensitivity after long-time operation under high temperature and mechanical vibration. Coil resistance keeps stable value under repeated temperature cycling. Shock resistance structure withstands intermittent impact acceleration up to 20g. Output signal keeps stable proportional relation with vibration velocity.
Material Composition Sensor housing: High strength stainless steel alloy with splash-proof sealing. Internal magnetic circuit: High performance permanent magnet. Sensing element: Copper enameled wire moving coil, seismic mass block. Damping material: High temperature resistant polymer damping medium. Signal cable: Shielded flexible multi-core cable. Fasteners: Stainless steel mounting screws. Sealing parts: High temperature resistant fluorine rubber sealing ring.
Structural Features Cylindrical compact stainless steel housing for surface mounting on bearing housing. Internal assembly consists of fixed permanent magnet, suspended moving coil and seismic mass. Polymer damping medium surrounds seismic mass to restrain resonance amplitude. Rear side of sensor equipped with sealed cable outlet for shielded signal cable. Flat base with threaded mounting holes for fixed installation on machine casing.
Working Principle Sensor base is rigidly fixed on machine casing. When machine vibrates, sensor housing vibrates synchronously with casing. Internal seismic mass keeps relatively static due to inertia. Relative movement between moving coil and permanent magnetic field is generated. Coil cuts magnetic induction line and outputs induced voltage proportional to vibration velocity. The voltage signal transmits to monitoring module through shielded cable. Monitoring system converts voltage signal into vibration velocity value and performs amplitude alarm and protection judgment.
Installation Requirements Clean machine casing mounting surface, remove oil, rust and coating to guarantee rigid contact. Drill threaded mounting holes on bearing housing or machine casing according to sensor base dimension. Fasten sensor with stainless steel screws, ensure no loose contact between sensor base and measured surface. Install sensor with vertical measuring orientation within ±60° angle tolerance. Route shielded signal cable inside protection conduit, separate from high-power motor cables. Single-point grounding of cable shielding layer. Verify signal output by applying simulated vibration before machine startup.
Usage Precautions Do not apply strong impact or drop the sensor, which will damage internal seismic mass and coil assembly. Keep mounting surface clean and rigid, loose installation will distort vibration measurement result. Do not cut or splice internal signal cable arbitrarily. Regularly check mounting screw tightness during equipment overhaul in high vibration environment. Avoid strong external magnetic field near sensor installation point. Sensor must be replaced if sensitivity deviates beyond tolerance after long service time.
