    • 8 red LED status indicators on front panel
    • Two isolation barrier zones
    • DIN-rail or chassis mount
  • Working Principle:
    • NPN sensors pull each input to ground when active. The opto-isolator detects the voltage change, and the CPU reads the logic state via the backplane bus. The two isolation groups allow mixing of high-voltage and low-voltage signals safely.
  • Installation Requirements:
    • Mount in IC693 or IC695 chassis
    • Wire NPN sensors: sensor output to module input, sensor ground to module common
    • Use 18-22 AWG wire
    • Connect common terminal to 0V/ground
  • Usage Precautions:
    • NPN sensors only — do not use PNP
    • Do not exceed 30VDC on any input
    • Use shielded cable in high-EMI areas
    • Do not leave inputs floating — wire all unused channels to a defined state
    • Verify common ground connection is solid before powering up
