  • Product Introduction: This is a 2-channel analog input module for the GE Fanuc 90-30 PLC platform.   • Working Principle:
    • In voltage mode, the input signal is buffered and fed directly to a 12-bit ADC. In current mode, the signal passes through a 250 ohm shunt resistor to convert to voltage before ADC conversion. The digital value is stored in an internal register and read by the CPU via the Genius Bus. Optical isolation separates the field side from the logic side.
  • Installation Requirements:
    • Mount in IC693 or IC695 chassis
    • Use shielded twisted-pair cable
    • For voltage inputs, keep source impedance below 1k ohm for best accuracy
    • Ground shield at one end only
    • Keep analog cables away from digital I/O cables
