- Working Principle:
- CPU writes data to module’s dual-port RAM via 90-70 backplane. Ethernet controller encapsulates data into TCP/IP packets and transmits via RJ-45. Incoming packets are decapsulated and payload written to dual-port RAM for CPU access. Embedded web server runs on module’s internal processor.
- Installation Requirements:
- Mount in IC698 chassis
- Connect Cat5e/Cat6 cable to RJ-45
- Configure IP address in PLC software
- Enable Ethernet port in CPU configuration
- Usage Precautions:
- Use shielded cable in high-EMI areas
- Do not exceed 100m cable length
- Set static IP or use DHCP consistently
- Keep firmware updated for security
- Do not expose web server to untrusted networks
