Technical Specifications BNC coaxial interface; 1 input to 2 output tee structure; Impedance matched for LCN coaxial cable; Built-in signal isolation and surge protection; Panel or rack mount structure; Designed for TDC3000 Local Control Network.
Functional Features Realize signal branching on LCN coaxial trunk line; Maintain correct characteristic impedance to avoid waveform distortion at branch point; Suppress lightning surge and voltage spike from coaxial cable; Preserve LCN signal quality when adding network nodes; Limit fault influence range at branch point; Support LCN network expansion and node access.
Application Scenarios Refinery and chemical plant TDC3000 control room LCN network; LCN coaxial cable branch points; Multi-node LCN network layout for large DCS systems.
Performance Parameters Operating temperature range 0℃ to 60℃; Relative humidity 5% to 95%, non-condensing; Low signal attenuation; Stable impedance matching under long time continuous operation.
Material Composition Metal alloy shell; High precision BNC coaxial connectors; Impedance matching resistors; Surge absorption components; Insulating plastic internal support parts.
Structural Features Compact small form factor; BNC coaxial connectors on housing; Rack or panel mounting holes; Model and revision printed on housing surface; Internal shielding structure to reduce electromagnetic leakage.
Working Principle LCN high-speed digital signal enters the tee module through input coaxial port. Internal impedance matching circuit distributes signal to two output ports while maintaining the required impedance of LCN coaxial network. Surge protection components absorb high voltage spike induced on cable. The module transmits complete LCN data frames to two branch cables without excessive signal attenuation.
Installation Requirements Mount the module at designated LCN branch position; Fasten BNC coaxial connectors with proper torque; Connect protective ground wire to cabinet ground bar; Keep LCN coaxial cable away from high-voltage power cable; Test network signal quality after installation and wiring.
Precautions for Use Do not exceed maximum allowed node quantity on each LCN branch; Do not connect high voltage signal to BNC ports; Inspect coaxial connectors for aging and corrosion periodically; Replace module when LCN communication error appears at branch nodes.
