Working Principle
The P70360-SDN receives step and direction pulses from an external controller through the J4 connector. The internal DSP applies dynamic smoothing to the command sequence, then generates PWM signals to drive the stepper motor windings with microstepping precision. The drive monitors shaft position continuously and triggers a fault if a stall condition is detected. Default GPI assignments (Jog+, Jog-, EOT+, EOT-, Fault Reset) provide basic operational control without requiring external programming. Configuration is performed via RS-232 using P7000Tools software.
