Performance Parameters High bandwidth current loop for fast torque response. Auto-tuning algorithm optimizes servo loop gain for different mechanical loads. Fast overcurrent, overvoltage and overtemperature protection response. Stable operation under mains voltage fluctuation. Low position tracking error for high precision positioning.
Material Composition Housing: Aluminum alloy heat sink casing for power dissipation. PCB: FR4 multilayer power PCB and control PCB with conformal coating. Core Components: IGBT power module, high speed DSP motion processor, optocoupler, EMC filter components. Terminal Blocks: Screw type high current power terminal and signal terminal. Indicator: LED status lamps.
Structural Features Vertical compact cabinet housing with aluminum heat sink on rear side. Front panel separates high current power terminals and low voltage signal terminals. Internal PCB partitions power circuit, control logic circuit and communication circuit. Front LED array shows power, fault, bus and servo ready status. DIN rail clip at back of heat sink.
Working Principle Three-phase AC mains enters EMC filter and rectifier circuit to form DC link voltage. DSP processor receives motion command from fieldbus or analog input, calculates current reference. PWM IGBT power stage drives brushless servo motor winding. Motor encoder feeds back position and speed signal to DSP to close control loop. STO safety circuit disables IGBT drive signal when safety trigger activates. Internal monitoring circuit detects overheat, overvoltage, short circuit and triggers protection shutdown.
Installation Requirements Mount servo drive vertically on DIN rail inside ventilated control cabinet. Use shielded servo motor cable and shield grounding at drive side. Separate motor power cable from encoder signal cable. Set motor parameters and perform auto-tuning after wiring completion. Reserve clearance around heat sink for air convection cooling.
Usage Notes High voltage exists inside DC link circuit after power off, wait for capacitor discharge before opening cover. Do not touch power terminals when power is applied. Match motor rated voltage and current with drive rating. Check encoder wiring polarity carefully to avoid runaway. Clean dust on heat sink periodically to prevent overheating.
