Working Principle
The S62000 receives 3-phase AC input power, converts it to DC bus voltage through internal rectification, and drives the brushless servo motor through its IGBT power stage. The digital signal processor executes cascaded current, velocity, and position control loops with state vector modulation for maximum power efficiency. The integrated position controller can store and execute up to 255 motion tasks autonomously. Multiple feedback types are supported, and the expansion card slot allows adding PROFIBUS, SERCOS, DeviceNet, EtherCAT, or SynqNet communication.

Installation Requirements

  • Panel mounting with M5 hexagon socket screws
  • Use non-painted (conductive) mounting plates for proper EMC grounding
  • Ground bolt torque: 3.5 Nm
  • EMC-compliant shielding and grounding for all cables
  • 24VDC auxiliary supply from isolated power source
  • Wait at least 8 minutes after disconnecting main supply before touching live sections

Usage Notes

  • Never undo electrical connections while the drive is live
  • Wait at least 5 minutes after disconnecting from main supply before touching potentially live sections
  • Ensure AGND and DGND are joined together when using step/direction inputs
  • For motor lead lengths above 25m, install motor choke close to the amplifier
  • Monitor thermal conditions during continuous operation at rated current
  • Back up drive configuration parameters regularly
