Built-in EMI filter to meet industrial electromagnetic compatibility requirements. High reliability magnetic components adapt to continuous vibration environment of industrial workshops.

Application Scenarios Heavy machinery control system, industrial battery charging equipment, factory automatic assembly line, large industrial test bench, industrial cabinet centralized power supply, energy storage equipment auxiliary power unit.

Performance Parameters High power factor under full load, low harmonic distortion of input current. Fast protection response speed when overload and short circuit occur. Output voltage fluctuation is kept within the specified range when input voltage and load change. The temperature rise of internal components is controlled within the safe range under full-load continuous operation. The power good signal has high signal stability and can reliably feed back power status to PLC and controller.

Material Composition Shell: Aluminum alloy metal shell with anti-oxidation treatment. PCB: Thick copper FR4 multi-layer printed circuit board with industrial conformal coating. Magnetic core: Low-loss high-frequency ferrite, high temperature resistant enameled wire winding. Core electronic components: PFC control chip, high-frequency power switching tube, high-frequency transformer, filter capacitor, sampling and protection circuit, status relay. Fasteners: Stainless steel anti-vibration screws. Insulating materials: Flame retardant and high temperature resistant insulating film and plastic brackets.

Structural Features Rectangular chassis structure with mounting holes at the edge of the shell for chassis fixed installation. Internal air channel design to guide cooling air through heat-generating power devices. High-voltage area and low-voltage area are separated by insulating baffles. Input, output and control signal terminals are arranged on the same side of the shell for convenient wiring. Internal temperature sensors are arranged near high-heat components for real-time temperature monitoring.

Working Principle The alternating current enters the module and passes through the EMI filter circuit to filter out grid interference. The active PFC circuit adjusts the input current waveform to improve the power factor and stabilize the DC bus voltage. The DC bus supplies power to the high-frequency inverter circuit, and the high-frequency transformer completes voltage conversion. After rectification and filtering on the secondary side, stable DC power is output. The sampling circuit monitors output voltage and current in real time and feeds back to the main control chip to adjust the switching duty cycle. When the module works normally, the power good relay is closed to send the power normal signal to the external system. Once the module has over-temperature, overvoltage or short-circuit fault, the main control chip cuts off the power conversion and disconnects the power good signal.

Installation Requirements Fix the module to the cabinet base plate with screws, ensure no looseness during equipment vibration. Configure the cooling fan according to the air duct direction of the module. Use power cables with sufficient current carrying capacity for input and output wiring, and tighten each terminal. Separate power cable and control signal cable routing. Check all wiring for short circuit and wrong connection before power-on.

Usage Precautions All wiring maintenance must be performed in power-off status. Do not block the air inlet and outlet of the cooling air duct. Check the tightness of terminals and fan operation regularly in high vibration environment. The module is prohibited from running in the environment with condensation, corrosive gas and conductive dust. When multiple modules are used in parallel, the current sharing parameters must be matched. The same model must be used for replacement; other PM3398B derivative models cannot be directly replaced without parameter verification.
