Working Principle: The board receives raw analog signals from terminal boards (TBQA, TBQB, TBQC) via JA, JB, JF, and JG connectors. It performs scaling, filtering, and isolation to produce conditioned signals. Conditioned signals are transmitted to STCA via 3PL, to TCQC via JE, and trip signals to TCTG via JD. The TCQA section specifically scales 4–20 mA inputs for critical measurements such as compressor stall detection and fuel flow pressure. Installation Requirements:
- Install into I/O cores R1, R2, and R3 of a Mark V control cabinet
- Ensure proper mating with TCQA slot and associated terminal boards
- Secure all connectors and verify correct seating
- Follow GE installation manuals for grounding and shielding
- Verify jumper configurations match application requirements before powering
Usage Notes:
- Only use in Mark V systems with compatible terminal boards and software versions
- Verify hardware jumper settings match the application (see GE manuals)
- Avoid hot-swapping; power down the rack during installation or removal
- Periodically inspect connectors for corrosion or loose contacts
- Follow ESD precautions during handling and maintenance
