Description

GE MISPROBE2

Technical Specifications

  • Product Type: Eddy Current Proximity Probe
  • Measurement: Shaft relative vibration and axial position
  • Output: Analog voltage proportional to gap distance

Functional Features

  • Non-Contact Measurement: No mechanical wear, ensuring long-term reliability.
  • High Frequency Response: Capable of detecting high-frequency vibration signatures.
  • Linear Output: Highly linear output for accurate displacement measurement.

Application Scenarios
Turbine bearing monitoring, compressor shaft position, and rotating equipment vibration analysis.

Performance Parameters

  • Sensitivity: Standard mV/mil or mm/V sensitivity.
  • Frequency Range: DC to high-frequency vibration response.

Material Composition
Stainless steel housing, high-performance coil, and specialized high-temperature cable.

Structural Characteristics
Threaded probe body with a locking nut and integrated coaxial cable.

Working Principle
Generates a high-frequency magnetic field. Changes in the gap between the probe tip and the rotating shaft alter the coil’s impedance, which is converted to a proportional voltage.

Installation Requirements
Install in a properly tapped hole with the correct gap setting. Use the recommended extension cable and proximitizer.

Usage Precautions
Never bend the probe cable sharply. Ensure the target surface is smooth and free of debris. Calibrate the system after installation.
