KEBA CU313A

Product Introduction CU313A is the upgraded high-performance CPU in KEBA K2 control platform, designed for complex multi-cavity injection moulding, large die casting and high-speed extrusion machinery. It delivers higher computing bandwidth for multi-axis synchronisation, advanced pressure profile control and extended I/O capacity compared with CU312B.

Description

KEBA CU313A

Technical Specifications High-frequency 32-bit RISC processor; larger program and recipe flash memory than CU312B; 24 V DC power supply; expanded onboard analogue and digital I/O; native Ethernet, CAN bus, RS485 interfaces; support for additional EtherCAT fieldbus expansion modules; high-resolution analogue output for proportional hydraulic valves; operating temperature -20 ℃ to +60 ℃; IP20 protection rating for cabinet installation.

Functional Features Enhanced multi-segment injection profile control; synchronous motion control for multiple auxiliary axes; extended recipe storage supporting hundreds of mould parameter files; advanced signal filtering for noisy hydraulic sensor signals; integrated safe stop logic for machine safety circuits; real-time diagnostic logging of valve drift and sensor degradation trends.

Application Scenarios Large tonnage injection moulding machines, high-pressure die casting systems, multi-layer sheet extrusion lines, high-speed blow moulding production equipment.

Material Composition Reinforced flame-retardant plastic enclosure; high-density multilayer FR4 PCB; isolated analogue front-end circuits; gold-plated expansion bus connectors; anti-vibration screw terminal blocks for heavy industrial wiring.

Structural Characteristics DIN rail mount form factor; front panel LED array for run status, system fault, bus fault and recipe active indication; terminal blocks arranged by function group: power, analogue sensors, digital safety I/O and valve outputs; rear side expansion port for EtherCAT and I/O extension modules.

Working Principle The controller executes deterministic cyclic control tasks for pressure, speed and temperature. It reads feedback signals from transducers and encoders, computes control values for hydraulic proportional valves and servo axes, and exchanges real-time machine state with HMI and remote supervisory systems. Fault events and waveform snapshots are saved to internal non-volatile memory.

Installation Requirements Install on DIN rail in ventilated machine control cabinet; maintain minimum clearance for convection cooling; route analogue transducer cables with single-point shield ground; confirm EtherCAT node address assignment before bus commissioning.

Operation Notes Export recipe and project files before firmware upgrade; perform full machine safety check after CPU replacement; monitor valve drift logs during long continuous production runs.
