Working Principle: Field digital and analog signals are transmitted to FB201 module through rack backplane terminals. Input signals pass through optocoupler isolation and signal conditioning circuits, then converted into digital values. The fieldbus controller packages all collected data and sends to KEBA main controller. When main controller sends output commands, FB201 drives digital output channels to actuate field devices. The onboard diagnostic circuit continuously monitors channel status and reports fault information to main controller via fieldbus.
Installation Requirements:
- Insert module into matched KEBA rack chassis
- Wear anti-static wristband before handling the PCB module
- Use shielded twisted pair cables for fieldbus communication wiring
- Separate field signal cables from high power motor cables
- Verify backplane connector cleanliness before module insertion
- Complete rack protective earth connection
- Maintain cabinet ventilation to avoid overheating
Usage Notes:
- Configure fieldbus address and channel signal type before power-on
- Do not exceed rated voltage and current limits of each I/O channel
- Inspect gold-plated edge connectors for dust and corrosion during maintenance
- Cut off rack power before removing module if hot swap is not required
- Avoid mechanical impact and excessive vibration to rack chassis
- Check conformal coating integrity during equipment outage inspection
