Working Principle
The S20360-DNS receives 120/240VAC input power (single-phase or 3-phase), converts it to DC bus voltage through internal rectification, and drives the brushless servo motor through its power stage. The drive’s digital signal processor executes current, velocity, and position control loops at 1.25MHz update rate. High-resolution 24-bit encoder feedback provides precise rotor position information. The DeviceNet communication interface enables network integration for multi-axis coordination. The intelligent feedback system automatically configures drive parameters for plug-and-play commissioning.
Installation Requirements
- Suitable for DIN rail or panel mounting
- Ensure adequate ventilation for heat dissipation
- EMC-compliant shielding and grounding
- Use specified cable types and sizes
- Connect DeviceNet bus according to network topology
- Connect “Keep Alive” power input for rapid emergency stop recovery
Usage Notes
- Verify correct voltage configuration (120VAC or 240VAC)
- Peak current limited to 3 seconds to prevent thermal damage
- Ensure proper grounding to prevent EMI issues
- Back up drive configuration parameters regularly
- Monitor DC bus voltage stability during operation
